Yes, I know, it is already January 2nd but still, I wish you a very Happy New Year. A new year can actually start whenever you want it to. Maybe when you open a book, or start playing a game, or meet someone new. Maybe everyday is the beginning of new year. Depends on how you look at it. But regardless of when your new year starts, a new year means: new stories, new people, new experiences and of course, new books. New books that teach you new lessons, books that inspire you to become a better person or help someone. So before life moves on towards the new books, I would like to take a moment and show you ten books that I read this year which have in a way made my year (in no particular order):
1. Summer On The Short Bus by: Bethany Crandell
2. I Am Number Four by: Pittacus Lore
3. Honorary Tiger: The Life of Billy Arjan Singh
4. We Were Liars by: E. Lockhart
5. If I Stay by: Gayle Forman
6. Just One Day by: Gayle Forman
7. Stargirl by: Jerry Spinelli
8. The Book Thief by: Markus Zusak
9. I Am The Messenger by: Markus Zusak
10. Flowers For Algernon by: Daniel Keyes
Happy Reading!

Hi Toshita,
ReplyDeleteI found your blog through a book blogger list and got hooked to your posts. Great job with the blog :)
I'm Nisha, a close associate of Ritoban - an entrepreneur turned author, and his debut fiction novel is live on Kindle and is doing well.
I noticed your book reviews, and was wondering if you could do us a huge favor and write one for Ritoban's book (Release Date - January 31, 2015):

I am happy to send you the physical copy (paperback) or PDF/ePub/Mobi version of the book.
Looking forward to hearing back from you :)
Nisha
I would love to write a review for Ritoban's book. Please email me at toshibarve@gmail.com to discuss more.
