In a world where Las Vegas is gone, New York City is being patrolled, and an online gaming is the most dangerous drug around, neuro-headsets have replaced computer keyboards. Sam Wilson knows he has to get his hands on one. But once he gets a headset and familiarizes himself with the technology he has a terrifying realization. If you can hack a computer, what happens when your mind is linked to the system? Can your consciousness itself be hacked?
Brain Jack was a good read in terms of plot but I didn't enjoy it as much because it was about one of my not so favorite topics: Computers. To be more specific it was about coding and how people hack computers, and I haven't really tried to understand how computers work so some of the terms went over my head. If you are planning on reading Brain Jack I suggest you have an understanding of computers. I would give it 3 stars even though some of the terms went over my head.
